Membership is not required. Hikes are free. (Note: Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area is a paid parking area).
SUNNY SUNDAYS (10-15 KM)
November 15 – McCluskey’s Rock, Old Baldy, Eagle Summit: This hike will be a good workout, as we first visit the McCluskey’s Rock area, hike through to the Old Baldy CA and Eagle’s Summit, all with fantastic views! Leader: Mike
November 22 – Rainbow Hike – Nottawasaga Bluffs: We’ll be hiking on both main and side trails, through forest and fields, with the extra treat of creeping through the “Key Hole” and visiting the Nottawasaga Lookout. This hike is a bit shorter than usual. Leader: Glenda
November 29 – Beaver Valley West Side: A hike to a stone foundation to see an historic barn foundation, then we’ll hike north up and down the escarpment to see the views. Leader: Glenda
WEDNESDAY WALKERS (5-7 KM)
November 11 – Walter’s Falls and Lunch!: We’ll hike through cedars along Walter’s Creek, followed by lunch at the Inn. Leader: Marg Y
November 18 – Bognor Marsh: A lovely wander along on marsh boardwalks, then hike on an old cart trail along the scarp face and back to the parking lot. Leader: Marg Y
November 25 – Silent Valley: This hike is special. Cedar groves, scarp face and large boulders as well as the site of an old farm. Interesting historical features including the remains of a downed airplane. Leader: Marg Y
THURSDAYS (10-15 KM)
November 12 – Eagle’s Summit/Old Baldy: Lots of big views across the valley as we hike through Eagle’s Summit and over to Old Baldy before we return to our cars. Leader: Alan
November 26 – Loree Loop: We begin on the Intercept Side Trail then join the main trail until we meet the Loree Side Trail Loree Side Trail, then it’s back on the main trail to our cars. Leader: Alan
