The main Bruce Trail and all side trails in the Beaver valley area are closed until furhter notice due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30. Thank you for your patience as we work to remedy the situation and get hikers back on the trail.

The main Bruce Trail and all side trails from the Beaver Valley/Blue Mountains boundary at Swiss Meadows Road (km 0.0) to the southern end of Old Baldy (km 46.4) and the main Bruce Trail and all side trails from Sideroad 7A near Wodehouse (km 82.4) to the Beaver Valley/Sydenham boundary at Blantyre (km 117.3) are temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30.
Our Trail Maintenance volunteers are working hard to assess and clear the debris, but for your safety, please avoid these sections until further notice. This closure may last a few weeks until our volunteer crews can attend to all the damage. As assessment continues, other parts of the Bruce Trail may be temporarily closed. Updates will be noted in the Bruce Trail App and on brucetrail.org/trail_changes/icestorm. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
