We are extremely grateful for the excitement and support from the Beaver Valley community and beyond on the news of the BTC’s securement of the former Talisman resort lands. We are thrilled to be able to preserve and restore this part of the beautiful Beaver Valley and continue to connect people with nature via the 885 metres of the Bruce Trail that is now permanently protected here.
As we start to make plans for the property, we kindly remind visitors to stay on the blazed Bruce Trail and not hike, ski or explore the Escarpment slope or buildings at the base of the property for the safety of visitors and the habitats we aim to restore. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to providing further updates on plans for this new part of the Bruce Trail Conservation Corridor in the coming months.
