Trail Angel Volunteers needed

Beaver Valley Club trail angel volunteers shuttle volunteers to a desired starting point on the Bruce Trail

The BVBTC offers a trail angel service to hikers wanting a shuttle between start and end points of a hike within the Beaver Valley section. The service is volunteer-run and is popular with hikers. The club is now looking for more volunteers to help with the demand. The time commitment is whatever the volunteer has available and is very flexible.

The way the service works is a hiker sends us a trail angel request. Hikers will give a parking point on the trail and a start of hike point as well as a time they would like to be picked up. We pick hikers up at their cars and shuttle them to the beginning of their hike. They then make their way back to their car.

Volunteers are added to an email list and when we receive a request from a hiker, we send the request out to the volunteers. If the volunteer is available to do the shuttle then they reply and say they will do the shuttle. They will then be connected with the hiker/s to go over the hike details and confirm the plan.

Hikers make a donation to the Beaver Valley Club for rides given so it is an easy way to help raise funds for the club as well as help hikers achieve their goals. You meet some great people along the way!

If you like meeting people and want to consider being one of our trail angels, please contact info@beavervalleybrucetrail.org
