The evening\, which starts at 7:30 p.m. will begin with a brief introduction of the history and activities of the observatory\, information about what we hope to view in the night sky and a lesson on how the various telescopes work. Then it’s time for some star gazing as we circulate among the different telescopes. The first time you see the sky through one of those big telescopes it’s an amazing experience. \n\n\n\nThis is a fundraiser for the E.C. Carr Observatory\, a local part of RASC\, a national\, non-profit\, charitable organization devoted to the advancement of astronomy and related sciences. Our club has supported E.C.
