Challenge Yourself!

The Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club holds a number of hiking events to challenge and inspire anyone who considers themselves a hiker. Some of the events are organized hikes and others are self-guided.

Biennially, the Club organizes series of hikes that cover the entire length of the Beaver Valley section from End-to-End and the Falling Water Loop, where participants complete 30 km of our most formidible terrain in a single day. Every winter the Club holds a series of snowshoe hikes which include daytime and nighttime events.

Hikers don’t have to participate in a competition to test themselves. The Beaver Bites, Falling Water Loop and End-to-End challenges can be completed on a hiker’s own initiative. Hikers who keep a record of completed challenge hikes can opt to purchase a commemorative badge once the required trails have been successfully navigated.

Beaver Bites Challenge

For those eager to take the trail less travelled, our newest hiking challenge leads hikers along a route through the side trails in the Beaver Valley. Hikers can earn a Beaver Bites badge either by completing the Beaver Bites Challenge route as self-directed hikes or join us for the series of Badge Hikes over May and June.
